Originally born and raised in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Mirta resides with her family in Los Angeles since 1986. Her two daughters are her pride and joy, but as most grandmas, she enjoys watching her two grandchildren discover the wonders of growing up as she spoils them to no end.
It breaks her heart to think that back in her beloved Argentina, many children are being forced to trade off their dreams because they lack access to basic necessities such as drinking water, health or education.
At one point of our lives, we have all felt the need to make a difference in someone’s life. She was fortunately enough to come across a group of people who share her wish to help these kids out and together they formed AMAS. She rejoices in reading about the overwhelming support and solidarity coming from people ready and willing to reach out to those in need.
